Preconcentration and Fluorimetric Determination of 2-Phenylphenol using Magnetic Molecularly Imprinted Polymer

In the present work, reusable magnetic molecularly imprinted polymers have been used for first time as an adsorbent determination of 2-phenylphenol. Magnetic selective separation and preconcentration 2-phenylphenol native fluorescence has sensitive analyte. The developed method is rapid was completed in 40 minutes. Limit detection (LOD) found to be 1.09 µg L-1 imprinting factor 1.87. linearity calibration graph observed within range 5 - 250 L-1. Selectivity parameters showed that specific binding sites were available on polymer which capable recognizing molecules with their functional groups, size shape. Scatchard analysis revealed heterogeneous distribution homogeneous site non-imprinted polymer. interference effects some organic compounds characterization studies also evaluated. applied tap water samples recoveries 95.3 99.7 %.
